Allocation of 359.8 Crores made by Haryana government for BPL



News sources reveal that an allocation of INR 359.8 Crore has been made by the Government of Haryana for providing residing option to BPL masses in the city. The house allocation scheme would bring a drastic change in the living standard of people below poverty line in Gurgaon. It will not only make the city less cluttered by providing a home to the people below poverty line in Gurgaon but will also improvise the basic standard of living of the unprivileged class in the city. Under the housing schemes flats and houses of will be provided to particularly the homeless people in Gurgaon expectedly in the current year.

It is also stated by Satpal Sangwan the Housing Minister Haryana that this housing scheme was quiet higher than earlier one. In the earlier scheme, the allocation made was of INR 17 crore. This scheme came into existence in the financial year 2004-2005. As per Mr. Sangwan the sheme is ideally designed to provide the homeless people with housing facilities. The promises made show a picture of around 24000 houses. It is expected that out of the figure given the count for flats under construction will be 5520.

As per the information, in the span of last 6 years the number of houses that were constructed were 6164 and the cost of these houses was 390 crore. At the same time other 11,334 were also under construction having the estimated cost of 500 crore.

The dwelling units will make a part of sector 43 in Gurgaon and sector 6 Dharuhera. The amount invested in the construction is 49.76 Crores and 26.35 Crores. There are various categories of houses under construction and soon it will make a complete story of housing colony for the people below poverty line in Gurgaon. Soon an extension of the project is expected to make a part of Bhiwani and Sonepat.

The construction work of 928 houses had been fully completed during the time span of 2005 to 2011 and the economically unprivileged sections will also get a hold on as many as 5292 flats in the times to come.

In all, the completion of the housing scheme for the people below poverty line in Gurgaon will open reasonable avenues for a little upgraded section of the society as well. The surrounding areas will have blooming options which will be pocket friendly for a bit privileged class of Gurgaon crowd. The land that will be acquired by the government in the area and by the builders will also not offer very highly priced housings here. The area will concentrate in housing the masses below poverty line and the people just above the poverty line.
