Barely a week after Aman kachroo murdered by his seniors, another such case has been highlighted in the Gurgaon area. This time around, a 22 year old engineering student was allegedly beaten up by his batch mates and juniors on 5th of March. The incident took place in one of the private engineering college, Anupama College of Engineering in Bilaspur area of Gurgaon.
The victim Nishant Gharsa, a final year student was beaten up so badly that he had to be taken to the hospital in Gurgaon. According to doctor, Nishant had received serious injuries in the abdomen, chest and his private parts which results in internal bleeding and swelling. He has now been discharged but has been advised to take bed rest for next six to eight weeks.
The Gurgaon police have registered an FIR against six students. Also the Police commissioner, SS Deswal said that this is not a case of ragging by any means because the victim is in the final year and hence can’t be ragged by others. The Police officials have also confirmed that there has been no arrest made till now.
