Jeolikot is a charming family place on the Nainital- Haldwani highway to spend summer holidays in a calm and cool environment. It is the gateway to Kumaon’s Lake District, Binsar, Kausani, Ranikhet and Corbett National Park are just a few hours drive away. It is heaven for nature lovers and those who are interested in watching floriculture and colorful butterflies and is surrounded by orchards of pears, plums and peaches.

Jeolikot has its panoramic view of beautiful surroundings. Nearest airport to Jeolikot is Pantnagar (56 kilometers) and it takes 1ΒΌ hours. It is linked to Delhi by Jagson Airlines on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Taxi or tourist cabs are easily available at the airport to Jeolikot which will cost around Rs.600.
By rail if you want to come to Jeolikot the nearest railhead is Kathgodam (18 kilometers).It takes 30 min. to reach from Kathgodam railway station to Jeolikot. Taxi to Jeolikot will cost Rs.300 or so. You can board the train from New Delhi railway station. And for tourists coming from Gurgaon can reach station by hiring a taxi.

By Road take NH 24, go straight to Hapur (51 kilometers), then straight to Gajraula (56 kilometers), again go straight to Muradabad (51 kilometers)crossing Rampur(30 kilometers) then take a left towards forested NH 87,go straight to Rudrapur (42 kilometers), crossing Kathgodam (44 kilometers). And Jeolikot is 18 kilometers ahead of Kathgodam on NH-87.
If want to travel by bus then there is a deluxe bus at 9p.m.from Delhi’s ISBT Anand Vihar to Nainital stops at Jeolikot.
