Nakuchiatal is situated 25 kilometers from Nainital, 4 kilometers from bhimtal, and 320 kilometers from Delhi. The lake resort is located at Nakuchiatal (Uttrakhand, India). It is located opposite the lake. The lake is 175 feet deep and is surrounded by lush green hills and dense forests which after monsoons are covered with innumerable hues of the Himalayan forests.

The lake resort is set amidst 70 acres of dense oak forests which is famous for offering a panoramic view to Nakuchiatal Lake and a great sight seeing options like Bhimtal, Nainital and Sattal.

Activities:

• Lake – you can hire paddle or raw boats for a joy ride.
• Fishing –after taking the permission, carry your own fishing rod and head for the lake which has an abundance of carp.
• Trek – they can be organized to Jandhidhar and Jungliagaon, 8 kilometers from the lake.
• Mountain biking - There are many mountain trails where you can bike and enjoy the abundance of flora and fauna.

Nearby places to visit:

• Bhimtal: 4 kilometers from Naukuchiatal, this emerald green lake is ideal for boating and angling.
• Nainital: It is one of the most beautiful hill stations located at the lap of the Himalyan mountains. A walk through the green forests refreshens one’s soul and mind.
• Ranikhet: This calm hill station offers you with excellent views of the Himalayas with several good walks.

If you want to travel by car or taxi, it is a 6½hours route: Delhi- Rampur via Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gajrola, Muradabad (taking NH-24), Rampur-Ranibagh (taking NH-87), Ranibagh-Naukuchiatal via Bhimtal (district road). As it is 320 kilometers from Delhi you can easily hire a taxi or car from Gurgaon or Delhi. The nearest railhead to Naukuchital is Kathgodam. It is an 8½ hours journey (7½ hour+1hour from Kathgodam Railway Station). 5013 Ranikhet Express (Night) departs from Delhi railway station. And some other trains are also there. Reaching railway station is not a problem nowadays due to availability of taxi or cars outside the station.
