Ramarh is a small hill station rich in orchards. It is located at an elevation of 1,518 meters with an amazing view of snow-capped mountain ranges of Himalayas.

Ramgarh is surrounded by many rocky mountains, due to which it can be taken as the training institute of rock climbing. It is a good place to try adventurous sports here. People can enjoy the camping facilities available in Ramgarh within a calm and peaceful atmosphere in Himalayan region. Fishing is another enjoyable activity available here that is arranged by many resorts near Kosi River.
At the distance of 22 km from Nainital, Bhimtal lake is at an altitude of 1370 meters. There is Girija Devi Temple and the Shiva temple where devotees come every year. Ramgarh has pleasant climate all through the year having maximum temperature of 30 degree celsius and minimum of 20 degree celcius in summers. Winters are with maximum of 10 degree celcius and monsoons with medium rainfalls.
Reaching Ramgarh from Gurgaon can be done through road transport. You can hire a taxi which will take you to Ramgarh directly by road. You can also take the bus from Gurgaon which will drop you directly at Ramgarh. If by chance you miss the bus or the way does not suite, then you can reach to Delhi I.S.B.T bus stand to take the bus.
Rail transport is also available for the destination. Take the required train from Old Delhi station or Nizamuddin which will drop you at Kathgodam Station. To cover up the remaining distance of 35 km to Nainital, take a bus or a taxi from there.
You can also reach Ramgarh by Air transport. Take the flight from Indira Gandhi Airport to Pantnagar which is the nearest airport to Nainital. From Pantnagar, take a bus or a taxi which will suite you to reach your final destination, Ramgarh.
