Stayed here for 3 days in June 2009. Beautiful, amazing energy! Can be busy with families visiting during the day but after 4pm it is empty and silent. Perfect place to sit and meditate. Stay at the ashram for a couple days and enjoy nature’s blessings!

I had been blessed to visit Tarkeshwar in March 2008, due to the grace of Sri Swami Ram Of The Himalayas, as i came to know about this great n divine place through his book LIVING WITH THE HIMALAYAN MASTERS. Tarkeshwar is a place which i feel is still untouched by kaliyuga, and truly it is still mysteriously protected thru a divine force and literally protects anyone who goes there….a great place full of spritual vibrations and gr88 for meditation, i felt oneness with GOD here….n much more…!!

I visited this heaven on 28Jun11 and I also felt the positive vibes and wished I could stay there. Now when I see similar comments, I feel that what I felt was real and not imagination. Would like to visit it again.

The Gate Way of this heaven starts from Chakhuliya Khal(Opposite to Leela Nand Lakhera Marg). Entering through the way to Tarkeshwar Dham you feel yourself in the protective custody of Shri Tarkeshwar Mahadev. Dil aur Dimag badal jata hai. Astha ka Sailab Umarane lagata hai. Prakritik Sndarata Dil Moh leti hai, Dil ke ander nai adyaatmik energy ka sanchar hone lagata hai, Aatm Prashanta kee sukhad anubhuti hoti hai. Entering though the main gate of the temple we feel we are in the another world. Nature and weather every thing change there. Only we found peace there. It is a grate place full of spritual vibrations and a perfect place for meditation.
Way Route Kotdwara to Duggada, Duggada to Deriya Khal( below Lansdowne ) then to Sisaltee - Adhariya Khal and Chakhuliya Khal. Right turn from Chakhuliya Khal is Shri Tarkeshwar Mahadev Road. Left turn is known as Leela Nand lakhera Marg.
You can stay there then in the Swami Ram Asram compound of the temple. Mandir commitee will arrange Lunch(reaching before 11 a.m.) and dinner(if stayed) i you can stay with your family. RESTRICTION; The sweats of Mustard Oil or Mustard oil( wash your hair if you have applied the mustard oil) is restricted. The Wood of Kandhar (The tree which is known for its bigest leaves), or branches or leafs of Kandhar tree are also restricted in the Mandir Compound. Avoid to take such a food prepared by Mustard Oil before visiting the temple. Befor visiting take a bath in the Kunds(Ponds) of the temple compound before visiting. In the compound of Temple you will never found any type of harmful insect or flies. My village Raut Kholi is among those those village who are under the territory of Shri Tarkeshwar Mahadev.
