A Mason was arrested by Gurgaon police for killing a 40 year old woman. The lady was found dead in the basement of her house at Sector 6 on Tuesday. The accused named Sunil who belongs to Agra confessed about this crime where he murdered the victim because of her “harassing” behavior towards him. Also he was not satisfied with the payment.
The mason was working at Vanita Kaushik’s (the victim) house but he left the work in between due to some argument over the payment. He came back to Vanita Kaushik’s home and told that he wants to restart the work. After the murder Sunil ran away from the crime scene. The police suspected Sunil as the murderer and thereby traced him to his home town in Malpur, Agra and from there he was taken into custody.
The contractor had promised Sunil a daily wage of Rs. 250 for fitting marbles in the basement. But, apparently Sunil was asked by Vanita(the victim) to work extra hours i.e, from 7am to late night but wasn’t paid as promised by Vanita. This behavior drove him mad and hence, he killed the lady.
