HUDA is continuously striving to modernize Gurgaon and bring it at par with other industrial estates like NOIDA and Delhi. One of the major initiatives by HUDA is to plan a Convention Center at Manesar. The focus of HUDA is to develop Manesar as the industrial hub of Gurgaon. Thus Manesar is experiencing a well-planned and organized infrastructure development so that this satellite town can handle massive commercial development in the coming years. The Convention Center Project is expected to add lot of brand value to Manesar and eventually Gurgaon. As per the plans, the size of the upcoming project would be double of Delhi’s Pragati Maidan. According to the HSIIDC after the Convention Center finally comes up in Manesar, events like India International Trade Fair (IITF) might get shifted to Gurgaon.
Some advances in the project have already been reported with the structural model and design of convention center approved by the Government. Information from trusted sources reveals that the Center and State have gives a green signal to the project. The maps and the models of the project are well in place. The most attractive thing about the colossal project is that it has been sanctioned a budget of INR 2000 Crore. The amount has been confirmed by the managing director of HSIIDC, Rajiv Arora.
The area in which the convention center of Manesar would sprawl is almost 300 acres. The area selected for the project is Manesar just because it has the best of connectivity from the center of Gurgaon as well as Delhi. The land which is being acquired for the convention center project is just beside the KMP Expressway. The earmarking of the 300 acres land has been done right next to the Pachgaon Chowk as per the Senior Town Planner of HSIIDC, Dinesh Chauhan. Further added by Mr. Chauhan, various important events International Trade Fair would make a shift from Pragati Maidan once the Upcoming Convention Center is ready.
The Manesar Convention Center is going to be better than Pragati Maidan in terms of better parking and traffic management. The construction is expected to start by the mid of 2011after the administration completes a proper analysis of the location. With the emergence of this world class project in Manesar, Gurgaon the city will see a boom beyond expectation in the real estate sector. It would not only make the area around Manesar a sizzling real estate investment option but the whole city an ideal investment option for investors.
