Institute of Technology & Management was established in the year 1996, under the Chairmanship of Mr. N. K. Dewan. The college has been approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Govt of India and Govt. of Haryana. The college is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak.
The college offers a 4 years Bachelor of Engineering (BE) course in seven streams- Computer Science & Engineering; Electronics & Communication Engineering; Electronics & Instrumental Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; Information Technology; Civil Engineering And Automobile Engineering. The college also offers M.Tech Program in Computer Sciences & Engineering; Electronics & Communication Engineering; Mechanical Engineering and Software Engineering as well as Management Courses- MBA.
The admissions to the College in Bachelor courses are made through AIEEE, which has been conducted by CBSE, New Delhi from the session 2006-07 and onwards. Diploma holders can also be admitted in IIIrd semester directly, if the person qualifies in Lateral Entry Examination Test (LEET) conducted by Haryana State. The person is eligible for the M.Tech and MBA courses, if he/she qualifies the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or Management Aptitude Test (MAT) respectively, with Bachelor’s degree in respective branch of Engineering & Technology from any University.
