Kangaroo Kids Preschool was established by well known and renowned organization, Kangaroo Kids Education Ltd., under the prime leadership of Lina Ashar, Chairperson. In 1993, the organization inaugurated its first school in Bandra, Mumbai with a preliminary capacity of 25 students. The two big giants, Kangaroo Kids and Gymbaroo, merged into an organization known as Kangaroo Kids Education Ltd (KKEL) in 2002-2003.
Presently KKEL is operating 56 schools in 15 cities of India, and one in Dubai too. KKEL had never aimed to operate the largest chain of schools but they always wanted to be acknowledged as a leading provider of curriculum frameworks that develop a range of pathways to life long learning.
Admission Procedure:
- Primary classes: On the basis of interview of the child along with their parents. Minimum age criterion for admission to Nursery is three years plus as on 31st March of the academic year.
- Classes I to X: On the basis of written test and interview of the child.
- Classes XI to XII: On the basis of percentage obtained in the board exams conducted by CBSE or any other equivalent board and interview of the child.
