Kendriya Vidyalaya, Air Force Station, located on the old Delhi Gurgaon road, was established in the year 1976. The prime motto of the school is to meet the educational needs of the children of transferable Central Government Employees, including Defense personnel and providing them a common program of education.
Kendriya Vidyalaya spreads over 12 acres of non-pollutant campus and sprawling gardens. The school has grown by leaps and bounds under the guidance of Mr. S K Tyagi, Principal. One more branch was inaugurated at Sohna Road in the year 2003 by GP. Capt. A. K. Shyam.
Admission Procedure:
- Class I: No written test and no interview would be conducted for admission. Minimum age criterion for admission to class I is five years plus as on 1st April of the academic year.
- Classes II to X: On the basis of written test and interview of the child. Minimum age criterion for admission to class II is six years plus as on 1st April of the academic year.
- Classes XI to XII: On the basis of percentage obtained in the board exams conducted by CBSE or any other equivalent board and interview of the child.
