Run For Vision foundation is organising WALK-A-THON of 5 kms at Leisure Valley, Gurgaon on 27th February, 2011.
This event is being organised with a sole purpose of creating awareness for being a responsible citizen and waking up to the noble cause of eye donation.
Today, there are 21 lac cases of blindness in India and the fact is that 80% of them are fully curable. The hurdles faced are due to lack of awareness about the cause & solution, lack of financial resources which results in lack of infrastructure in rural areas.
