The new HUDA administrator, Praveen Kumar who joined office in October 2011, is making waves. The buzz is that the new chief of HUDA is all set to take serious steps to cure the infrastructural and civic issues faced by Gurgaon. The millennium city of Gurgaon that boasts of big MNCs and IT giants has all the potential to become the most modern and world class places to stay in India. However, due to lack of proper governance and ill-maintained infrastructure Gurgaon is not able to attain the level of a world class city.
HUDA has not been able to maintain and develop Gurgaon the way it deserved. A strategic development plan and its proper implementation have always been missing. But since Mr Praveen Kumar joined HUDA as its administrator news is that Gurgaon is all set to overcome the small and big infrastructural issues that it faces.
The new HUDA chief is known for his honesty and integrity even when he worked for other Government departments in his earlier career. Mr Praveen Kumar has always been infamous for denying inappropriate requests and taking stern steps against illegal practices. He is doing the same since he joined HUDA. A few weeks back Praveen Kumar was in news for slapping a peon in his offices for conspiring against him along with other workers. Before that HUDA Chief became popular for beating himself with shoes while trying to stop violent outbreak by a bunch of protestors against encroachment.
Praveen Kumar is constantly in news not only because of these impulsive actions, but more due to the positive and constructive steps he is taking for the development of Gurgaon. His aim to involve the general public in the task of development is highly appreciable. The Chief has approached MDI Gurgaon students for their bright ideas to solve traffic problems in Gurgaon. According to him “involvement of youth” will make the process of development easier and better. Mr Kumar has also proposed a Think Tank that will involve the intellectual and educated working class of Gurgaon and generate ideas for better and fast development of the city.
The residents of Gurgaon have already started reporting a visible change in the way administrative work is done. For example, sweepers and cleaners are finally doing their job on time as they fear Praveen Kumar’s wrath if they escape their duties. Mr Praveen Kumar is also taking necessary steps regarding illegal parking and providing enough parking in HUDA sectors.
The new HUDA administrator is becoming quite popular among the residents of Gurgaon more so because he personally visits localities and gives a patient hearing to people’s problems. His morning starts by visits to areas in order to check whether workers are properly doing their duty or not. But the chief is known to have earned a bad name in his office as he keeps all the officials on toes.
Gurgaon is lucky to have an efficient and honest administrator like Praveen Kumar. However, it will take a few months to experience a visible change in the city as Mr Kumar marches forward with a solid developmental plan and serious implementation.

We are with you to clean up the mess and streamline the infrastructure of Gurgaon and make the city like Singapore. Praveen Kumar ji, may kindly pay your attention to our Aravali Bio Diversity Park as well because nowdays people are started to drive their vehicles over the walking and cycling trails and guards posted at the park are mute spectators and when I questioned they simply replied that they are big people we cant do any thing. Kindly save this park also.

Well what can i say about this person…truly down to earth,energetic,honest,industrious,the list will be endless.i met him today personally at laser velly park where a function was organised by our ngo RHSS and he was the chef guest there.he distributed warm cloths to the children of slum areas as well as he gave cash there.he has lots of DHAASU ideas in his mind and i am damm sure that one day these ideas will work..guaranteed!! Am a student who lives in a village and i hope that one day the ray of hope will come there..happy Christmas…love u Mr praveen…

Sub: A complaint of illegal construction at E-7/15 DLF-1 Gurgaon.
Sir,
The owners of house number E 7/15 DLF 1 Gurgaon have dug up the basement without leaving proper distance from adjacent houses, this is against the HUDA bylaws of building construction.
This they have done to start a playschool in the basement.
Not only this they have constructed many floors more than allowed and have stopped the natural sunshine and air for other residents.
Immediate action must be taken against them.

Your visit to Sec-40 on 3rd Jan in wee hour has given new hope among the residence; my personal learning from your visit is that there is no limit for self motivation and commitment towards individual duty. Nothing is above commitment and honesty. Sir I wish you continued good health and success in your administration endeavors.
Here I would take an opportunity to request you to make a surprise visit to our pocket ( plot no 719 to 754) to see how this pocket is being misused by taxi stand which has created a slum like environment.

1.0 water leakage in round about cicle at AIT chowk since last 48 Hrs.i.e. 18th Jan night.complete road is flooding which will damage road also as well as water wastage.
2.0 diagonal road in sector 44 is in very bad shape since last more than a year. please help to attend

Sir, there is an Illegal Mobile Tower (Airtel & Vodafone) over a cracked Terrace @ 16/9, K Block, DLF Phase 2, Gurgaon. I really doubt that Mobile Towers with such High Radio frequencies over Illegal Constructions is allowed. Kindly please pay your visit and save us from this High Radiation and Illegally constructed Mobile Tower.
