If you are planning to buy a plot that is adjoining a park or any master roads or near any new sector coming to Gurgaon then get ready to pay up to 10 percent more amount. According to sources, Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has decided to charge 5-10 percent extra of the total value of the plot located near master roads, green belts or near sector or both.

TC Gupta, Chief Administrator HUDA said that the proposal was already in place with the new master plan. Also all the residential plots are going to be elevated based on the location and size. He also said that the rates of these plots are very low as compared to the current market price so the rates were bound to increase.

With the change in District Town Plan according to new master plan, HUDA will now have only 45 percent land for sale instead of 55 percent earlier. The plots will be categorized as preferential (near by master road or park) and special preferential (near both a park and master road). One of the officials said that the move is taken by HUDA to recover the losses incurred by less space available for sale in sectors. According to new master plan all the roads will be widened up. Interior roads will be widened up to 12 meters which earlier was up to 9 meters whereas master roads will be doubled from 30 meters to 60 meters.
