Rajdhani- a chain of restaurants which offer the traditional thali concept is located on the third floor of the Metropolitan mall. The restaurant serves a mixture of traditional Gujarati and Rajasthani delicacies and serves them with style. You must go for the tasty Gujarati Kadhi and the Aloo Rassewala. In the sweet dish, you must try the Aamras, Aam Rasmalai and Moong Dal Halwa. Gujarati Dal Dhokli was not so Gujarati!
The restaurant has a beautiful ambience. A meal for two costs around Rs. 400. Calorie conscious people must stay away from the place. It’s a good place to hang out with friends, family and relatives.

I visited Rajdhani restaurant at MGF Mall Gurgaon on 7th Sept - for dinner. And it is not the first time that I was visiting a Rajdhani restaurant - having been to this outlet earlier as well as several times at their Mumbai outlets.
However, my experience at the Gurgaon outlet was perhaps the worst I have had ever. The waiters had to be called again and again, the supervisor (found out his name was Laxman) would only be seen far away - not bothering to even show some basic courtesy, the manger Shukla was nowhere in the outlet - and despite Laxman being told that he should at least call up to clarify things, did not call up (I presume it was Laxman who did not inform Shukla).
In addition, the food was cold (esp the breads), and the lack of any warmth only compounded the matters.
All in all, a bad choice for a family occassion. And Laxman should start calling himself Lax(customer service)man! Thanks to him, I doubt if I shall ever go there again.

Seems like this is a anti-rajdhani brigade, have eaten at this outlet of Rajdhani several times and latest instance is last week. The food is awesome, service is outstanding…so much so that you have to refuse the over-courteous waiters after the realisation of over eating crops up in your mind.
Extremely Sattisfying experience.

I would say that rajdhani serves very good authentic food and yet it is a fit to your pocket. Very good ambience

My wife had a very bad experience . Imagine serving cockroach in dessert and none of manager/ waiters being apologetic .
I will never visit Rajdhani again

Have seen the Gurgaon Metropolitan Mall Rajdhani rapidly going downhill over time. The surly waiters seem reluctant to serve, superviser is unccoperative. Food quality has declined.Ended up with four varieties of daal and was even told that they were serving one snack less as they were serving an extra daal!!! For dessert they ahd something called a fruit float which was milk with some prices of fruit floationg on it. Extremely dissapointing.

i along with my family went to this restaurant to have lunch, got a seat, A.C wasn’t working, wen i asked the manager he told “mall ka AC hai isse tez nahin chalega”, also there was lot of noice….not due to the public sitting there but because of the waiter serving customers with steel spoon banging on the plate. it’s not yet over, dahi bhalla was served with a dead insect over it…seems like they were trying to garnish the bhalla, dal while serving spilt all over the table, sabzi served was cold, had to tell the waiter to serve hot sabzi. Extremely dissapointing exp:((
