In a case of road rage in Gurgaon, a XII standard student’s guard shot at two persons on Monday evening. The incident took place near Ghata Mor on Sohna road in Gurgaon around 4:30 pm when a class XII student of G D Goenka World School was returning to Delhi in his BMW car after submitting the project.

According to police, the altercation started when the Indica driver did not allow the BMW car to overtake and brushed past the BMW. Soon the argument turned ugly and the gunman(Anil) in the BMW pulled out the pistol and fired 3 shots on the Indica’s occupant. No one was injured in the incident but the bullets smashed the rear window of the Indica. As the crowd began to gather at the spot the BMW sped away immediately.

According to sources, the BMW was later caught by the police near Gwalpadi checkpoint. The police also recovered a pistol form the guard, Anil that was allegedly used for firing shots. However, the case has been registered against the driver, the guard and Nitin Jain under IPC sections 307(attempt to murder), 506 and 427 (threat and damage to property) and 25/54/59 of the Arms Act.
