It is a sign of relief for parents who have to gear-up their schedules for finding extra time for their special child. No matter how much they do love their child, it is a pain to find proper schools that will cater to their special demands. But now few schools in Gurgaon have taken initiative to accommodate these special children.
Schools like Scottish High International School with its Austin Research Centre, Shri Ram School, Amity International and DPS Maruti Kunj are among the few schools that have joined the league for providing the special educators and special programmes that help observes the child behavior and accordingly set them up to different level of programmes. These schools have done outstanding work in taking the initiative towards a noble cause and integrating the society at basic level.
These schools have designed the various special curriculums in which these children can participate. The special educators and guides kept for helping out the children evaluate them on their ability to grasp and advance in these activities. The progress report is thus a collective report on their conduct and their ability to improve on certain subjects chosen as per the educator.
Scottish High International School has set up an Austin Research Centre, designed with all high-tech equipments and accessories, wholly dedicated to the children with intellectual disabilities where they are merged in the normal classroom under integrated set up. An educator, along with the teacher, sits in the classroom for the help and keeps the pace of the classroom as required. This integrated set up has proved to be beneficial for all children as they get accustomed to new changes and learn in different ways.
Similarly the Shri Ram School boasts of Special Education Needs (SEN) which works by mixing the students from mainstream with respect to chronological age keeping in mind their abilities with the special children. The group is given various tasks and activities to perform. Children are encouraged to participate in the curriculum activities like sports day, assemblies and annual function, instilling in them more confidence and a better sense to project them in public.
At junior level, these activities are more basic like drama, painting and science exhibitions yet they aim in achieving the same goal and that is to bring forward these special children in every aspect at school level.
At Pathways World School, children with learning capabilities are taken care of with respect to their mental growth. A special educator dedicated to these children help them recover form their reading and writing difficulties with love and care. The checklist designed by these tutors is then used to track the progress rate in arithmetic, reading, writing, social and interpersonal skills.
Under the love and affection of these educators, children with minimal learning disabilities can now learn to cope up under normal schooling environment. This facility provided by most advanced schools of Gurgaon has helped the parents to be free of the worries for their special child.
Many parents said that they now feel relaxed about the education of their child. Working parents felt a surge of relief as they can now depend on these schools to cater to their child’s demands that too in a caring manner.

I want to share one important information. We came to know one very effective therapy called Neuro Therapy in Gurgaon. This works on entire system of our body and very effective for CP children too. We have started this therapy for my daughter (AGe 7+, CP case) and there are good results in one week only. Her stiffness is reduced and some improvement in speech too. For details pls contact me on 9311950951. Thanks a ton to God for this right direction.
