Vapour pub and microbrewery in Gurgaon
“Vapour” a new pub and microbrewery in Gurgaon at the Megacity mall on MG Road, has covered all the ground that a nice watering hole possibly can. It has a huge terrace with a view, there is a distinct dance floor with the DJ kiosk and all the shabang, huge dining area and on top of it all it is a microbrewery, with six huge stainless steel containers fixed behind the bar counter, offering several brews on any given day.
Vapour could potentially be ‘the’ hangout place in Gurgaon for the decent pub crawlers who want to avoid the brawls and also want to have a good time. Besides fresh beer the liquor menu quite elaborate and offers a variety of cocktails and beer combos like Jaeger bomb etc. Some interesting ones are: refreshing aperitif Ersh made with kiwi pulp, lime and a shot of premium lager. Hangmans blood is a dark lager and cream, topped with black grape juice.
Vapour churns around 1000 liters of customized beer brew daily and the ingredients are imported regularly from Bamber, Germany. Fresh beer, as Gurgaonites are learning, tastes completely different from the one we get from the market. It is of course fresher and has awesome aftertaste and aroma.
The four brews that they are currently serving are: Premium, light, dark beer and wheat beer. Premium lager has a bitter caramelized flavor (Rs 185 for 500 ml), the light lager has a smoky texture because of the residues from the filtration, Wheat beer is lightest with a sweet and sour test.
The appetizer and main course menu is wholesome and doesnt ignore any cuisine. For non drinkers , Vapour is planning to introduce fruit flavoured beers in green apple and spicy beer in ginger, coriander , cinnamon and chilli flavours.

yesterday(27-08-10) i saw ad on TOI that Parikrama is playing at Vapour. excited !! i hire a cab (my car is garrage for servicing) for Rs.800/- and went to gurgaon from south delhi with my cousin sister. on reaching Vapour, we were stop at the entrance by the staff & bouncer. i ask why? they say it was a private and meant only for invited guest and hence we were not allow to enjoy the music and drinks.
To Vapour Management: was it really a private party last night? if yes, why did the ad comes up in Times of India? or are we deny entry becoz we are from NE/chinky? i am very hurt by this discriminatory practices. I travel widely and have been to all the continent in the world, i was never deny entry. Why i was discriminate in my own country???
i want a genuine response from the management.

Vapour is a good place to hangout specially for night out with your partner, a very good ambience to have fun, having a cup of beer with your loved would be a good idea as the range of beer provided is good and is complimented by very good indian cuisine, We tried so many things and found good, only Mutton Burra disappointed us as there was no mutton in it.

Hi,
Had gone to Vapors yesterday evening (Jun 20th, 2011) with a few friends. After snacks and Dinner, we ordered for Chicken Pizza. Since today morning, am having a badly upset stomach. I have thrown up 4 times as well. The Pizza seemed stale (In all likelihood, they served us weekend’s left-over Pizza). Another friend of mine who shared the Pizza, is also in a bad shape since today morning.
It’s sad to have places like these serving sub-standard food. I would strongly recommend everyone to avoid Vapors in the future.
